It's nice to see that Gameloft is improving each entry while managing to keep the cost low. IGN's George Roush was enthusiastic about the game, awarding a score of 8 out of 10, and concluding "If you're as much of a fan of the Asphalt series as I am then you're going to love Heat. The iOS version holds an aggregate score of 83 out of 100 on Metacritic, based on seventeen reviews, and a score of 81% on GameRankings, based on seven reviews.
